Publications

One of the most daunting aspects of being diagnosed with myeloma is learning about – and understanding – an unfamiliar disease that is quite complicated. These IMF publications provides an overview about myeloma and it is hoped that the information will be helpful to health and professionals and patients alike.

IMWG Guidelines

The IMWG has a two-fold task: to conduct translational research—from lab bench to patient bedside—under the auspices of the IMF and to publish consensus statements and guidelines for the management of myeloma. These publications represent both the work of the IMWG and the work of individual IMWG members who have based their papers on IMWG data sets that were made available to them.

Nurse Leadership Board

The Nurse Leadership Board (NLB) is made up of nurses from the leading centers treating myeloma patients in the US. Their mission is to develop broad recommendations for nursing care for myeloma patients.
