Caregiver Breakout

September 16, 2017 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

I'm very pleased to share that Rose Vondrashek, RN, and Dr. Ehlers will be joining us again for our caregiver break out. We will meet as a group for the first hour; the second hour, the caregivers will go for their own discussion.  This is always a great session, and I thank Rose and Shawna for taking time out of there Saturday to join us.

TIME & LOCATION - We are meeting at the Gift of Life Transplant House, 705-2nd street location (north side/old house) from 10:00 AM to Noon.  Multiple myeloma survivors, caregivers, family and friends are welcome. Please join the group.  Light refreshments provided by Takeda Oncology, meeting space provided by the Gift of Life Transplant House, educational materials provided by the IMF.

HELPING HANDS - I typically arrive around 9:00/9:15 to arrange chairs, set up food and lay out materials.  For future meetings, if anyone is able to plan in advance to assist with set up, please let me know.  If you are unable to arrive early, assistance with clean up afterwards is just as helpful.

This sharing group holds free meetings for multiple myeloma patients and their families. We offer the opportunity for informal discussions and questions, and occasionally have invited speakers to provide information about various topics related to the cancer experience.
